BRIEF/LIST OF FUNCTIONS OF THE UNIT
Responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for:
• Provision of legal advice on matters referred to the legal Unit;
• Drafting of legal documents;
• Liaison with University Solicitor on behalf of the University;
• Other Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Vice-Chancellor or Registrar from time to time;
• Representing the University in the Law Courts;
• Secretary to all the University’s Companies and business enterprises registered with the Corporate affairs Commission.
• Membership/attendance of Statutory Committees
• Oath administration

It is a technology-based institution, which aims at providing the needed manpower training for industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.
